For the Days That Don’t Have Words

I Don’t Have It Together Today
The last couple of days have felt heavy. Not just physically, emotionally, mentally..........deeply within me.
I feel weighed down by things I don’t even say out loud. The kind you carry quietly, because you have to.
Life doesn’t pause.
I’m holding on to my family as it grows. To my children and everything they need. To my partner and the challenges he’s facing, that somehow become mine too, and in the middle of all that, I’m still trying to build a life. A career. Something that actually bears fruit.
But how do you do that when you feel like you’re barely holding yourself together?
How do you stay focused, productive, hopeful, when there’s no stable income, when the pressure is constant, when the weight doesn’t lift?
Some days, it feels like I’m being stretched in every direction- provider, nurturer, partner, builder- and somewhere in all of that, I can’t tell where I begin or end anymore.
It’s exhausting. Not the kind sleep fixes but the kind that comes from carrying too much for too long.
And still - I’m here.
After everything life has thrown at me over the years, I’m still standing. Am Still trying, am Still showing up, even when I feel like I have nothing left to give.
Maybe that counts for something.
Maybe today isn’t about having it together. Maybe it’s about telling the truth about the weight without turning it into failure.
But, This isn’t failure.
This is what it looks like to be in the middle of it. The pressure, and the uncertainty of the becoming.
And even if I can’t see where this is going yet ~ I’m still here.
And for today that has to be enough.
If you’ve read this far, maybe you are here not by accident, but because something in you understands this weight too. Not everything you are holding is visible. Some of it doesn’t have words yet. Some of it has been sitting in you for a long time, shaping how you show up, how you breathe, how you keep going. If that is you, I want to say this slowly and clearly:
You are not failing because you feel overwhelmed. You are not weak because you are tired. And you are not behind because you are still becoming.
There is a kind of strength that doesn’t look like pushing through. Sometimes it looks like simply still being here, even when nothing feels certain inside you. Even when you are tired of being strong.
There is a scripture that says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18) Not as a correction to your pain, but as a reminder that you are not unseen in it.
Whatever today feels like for you —heavy, quiet, confusing, or just emotionally full— let it be honest. You don’t have to force clarity where there is still processing. You don’t have to rush yourself into being okay.
Just stay with yourself gently. One breath. One moment. One step at a time.
And if no one has told you this recently, let this be your reminder:
You are still here. And that means something is still unfolding in you, even now.
